yeah, so i went to see the matthew barney exhibit at the guggenheim. i went with my dad, and to my surprise he liked it. it reminded me of some of the exhibits that really turned me on to art in the early seventies, when i was like six or seven, but i'll get back to that.
this morning i was watching mtv - brasil (cause that's the one i get here) and the chico science video for maracatu atomico came on and you know what -- it was a lot like the matthew barney exhibt except better. anychance he copped the whole thing from chico science?
it's interesting because that feeds into another experience when i was in new york. i went to this bar in brooklyn to see a brazilian percussionist cyro batista and he did a song in homage to chico science. is chico science in again. was he ever out?
